Challenge:

Philips had recently brought all of its categories back in-house, and were looking to partner with an agency which had the ability to manage its POS inventory requirements. The team at Philips were looking for a partner with the ability to sort, pick, pack and store all their POS inventory across their Domestic appliances, Health and Wellness, Kitchen appliances, Beauty and Personal Care categories. They also wanted us to handle dispatch to store and rep’s sheds when required. This included print collateral, dump bins and posters to display stands for all their SKUs and demonstration models.

Solution:

This is exactly what Spark Up does best! We took on the project, sorting through the truckloads of POS provided, and handling all the identification, labelling, data entry and storage. Philips now have a custom digital portal for all of its POS, broken down by category. Their field team all have user access and can monitor the stock, order and track’n’ trace. The system can report back to management which products were ordered for the month by which rep, the products that are particularly popular (or never used). We have also established trigger alerts when stocks are low for re-replenishing. We work alongside agencies to co-ordinate reprints, and we’ve also introduced our contact database and have been supplying POS materials, merchandise as required.

Result:

We’ve assisted in creating a more streamlined workflow for Philips and continue to work with them to assist them with their inventory.
